On this EID 6^th July (Wednesday) Bollywood superstar Salman Khan is all set to hit the screens with sports drama film “Sultan” The film directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and produced by Yash Raj Films banner. Sultan Box Office Collection. Sultan now in theaters.

Actress Anushka Sharma is playing lead role as Arfa opposite Salman. The film revolving around Sultan Ali Khan (Salman Khan), a wrestler who has problems in his professional and personal life. From a small town wrestler in Haryana, Sultan achieves global fame winning bouts at the 2010 Commonwealth Games in Delhi, the 2011 FILA Wrestling World Championships in Istanbul and the 2012 London Olympics.

Khan will be seen portraying Haryana-based wrestler in the film. Khan underwent wrestling training under the guidance of Larnell Stovall.

The film’s starring also Randeep Hooda as Sultan’s coach, Amit Sadh as Sultan’s brother and Hollywood star Tyron Woodley also will be seen as a wrestler in the film. Sultan certified 12A by British censors, Approved run time: 169 min 21 sec.

The film opened with 70-80% occupancy on the day of release. The opening day figures were 36.54 crore (US$5.4 million). On the second day the film collected 37.32 crore (US$5.5 million). On the third day, the film raked in 31.67 crore (US$4.7 million). The figures on Saturday and Sunday were 36.62 crore (US$5.4 million) and 38.21 crore (US$5.7 million) respectively. The gross domestic collections for five days were 250.50 crore (US$37 million)
