Udta Punjab is an upcoming Indian thriller film, directed by Abhishek Chaubey and produced by Phantom Films and Balaji Motion Pictures. It tells the story of substance abuse in the Indian state of Punjab.

The film’s stars Shahid Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Alia Bhatt and Diljit Dosanjh in lead roles. The film’s shooting has began in March 2015. The film’s schedule to release in theaters on 17th June 2016.

After the many controversies now the film “Udta Punjab” cleared by Censor Board with “A” Certificate after 13 Cuts in Film. “Udta Punjab” certified 15 by British censors on 15 June 2016. Approved run time: 146 min 37 sec.
