Shikhar Dhawan is an Indian Cricketer, was born 5 December 1985 in Delhi, India. He is a left-handed opening batsman and occasional right-arm off break bowler. He played for the Indian Under-17 and Under-19 teams before making his first-class debut for Delhi in 2004 and made his One Day International Debut against Australia in 2004.
Personal Life:- Shikhar Dhawan was born 5 December 1985 in Delhi, India to Mahendra Pal Dhawan and Sunaina Dhawan into a Punjabi Jat family and he has a younger sister Shreshta Dhawan. He did his schooling education from St. Marks Senior Secondary Public School in Paschim Vihar. Dhawan married Melbourne-based Ayesha Mukherji, a half-Bengali, half-British amateur boxer.
Career:- Shikhar Dhawan first played for Delhi Under 16s in the 1999/00 Vijay Merchant Trophy. He played for the Indian Under-17 and Under-19 teams before making his first-class debut for Delhi in 2004 and made his One Day International Debut against Australia in 2004. He played for the Delhi Daredevils in the Indian Premier League and made 4 half centuries and was also the third highest scorer of the Delhi Daredevils team.
