Shaan is known for rendering his soothing voice in the industry. He is one of the leading singers in the Indian Cinema. He was born on 30 September 1972 and he is blong to Bengali Brahmin family. He has also sung many Pakistani songs. He is considered as the one of the most popular voices for romantic as well as melodious songs and is one of the most versatile singers. He has sung songs of different genres like pop, sad songs, patriotic, jazz, ghazals, hip-hop, rock, and many more. He also started his career at a very young age of 17 years in year 1989. He has been showered by titles like ‘Golden Voice of India’,’ Voice of Paradise’, ‘Magician of Melody’, ‘Voice of Youth’. His voice is perfect mantastic, superb menz voice. He was also participated in an extremely popular show called “Music Ka Maha Muqabla” in 2009-2010, against many of the industry renowned singers.

Personal Life :- Shaan’s Birth Name is Shantanu Mukherjee. Shan was born on 30 September 1972 in Khandwa, Madhya Pradesh. Shaan is a Bengali Brahmin family and the son of the late music director Manas Mukherjee and brother of singer Sagarika. His grandfather was the lyricist Jahar Mukherjee. His father died when Shaan was aged 13. after which his mother found work as a singer and took care of the whole family. He is married to Radhika and has two sons, Soham and Shubh.

Career : As a child, Shaan began his career singing jingles for advertisements. He has sung songs of different genres like pop, sad songs, patriotic, jazz, ghazals, hip-hop, rock, and many more. He has sung songs in Kannada, Bengali, Punjabi, Nepali, English, Hindi, Oriya, Malayalam, Marathi. He also started his career at a very young age of 17 years in year 1989. In 2000 he won the MTV Asia Music Award for best solo album for his album Tanha Dil. Shaan hosted the television show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa on Zee TV between the years 2000–2006, which won the Music Programme of the Year award at the Indian Telly Awards in 2003. In 2007. Shaan is one of the few Indian singers who have collaborated with international singers. After working with blue for the song (One Love) and singing the theme song (Shuruat) for the movie The Chronicles of Narnia. Shaan has also been one of the 4 finalist of the dance show Jhalak Dikhlaja 2013. Shaan won “Best TV Music Director Award” for creating the music of the Zee TV show Lipstick.
