Sarabjit is an upcoming 2016 Biopic film, directed by Omung Kumar and the film’s stars included Randeep Hooda and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.
Sarabjit Singh was an Indian national convicted of terrorism and spying by a Pakistani court. He was tried and convicted by the Supreme Court of Pakistan for a series of bomb attacks in Lahore and Faisalabad that killed 14 bystanders in 1990.
The film stars are Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Randeep Hooda, Richa Chadha, Darshan Kumar. Sarbjit is produced by Sandeep Singh, Omung Kumar and Vashu Bhagnani and directed by Omung Kumar.
The film is based on Indian prisoner Sarabjit Singh, who died in Pakistani jail nearly a week after brutal assault by other inmates. Sarabjit trailer has been released. The film is all set to release in theaters on 20th May 2016.
‘Sarabjit’ certified 12A by British censors on 16 May 2016. Approved run time: 131 min 19 sec.
