Rohit Sharma is an Indian cricketer and a right-handed top order batsman. He has made 13 centuries in international cricket—10 in One Day Internationals (ODI), 2 in Test cricket and 1 in T20I cricket —as of January 2016.He made his ODI debut against Ireland in June 2007.
He scored his first century in 2010 when he made 114 against the Zimbabwe at Queens Sports Club, Bulawayo. He made his Test cricket debut against the West Indies in 2013 and scored his first Test century, thus became the 14th Indian to score his century in debut test match.
He made back to back centuries in that series and won man of the series.On 13 November 2014, he scored 264 runs against Sri Lanka at the Eden Gardens, Kolkata. With this, he became the highest individual scorer, and the only double-hundred scorer in ODI cricket.
