Rochelle Rao is an Indian model and anchor. She was crowned Femina Miss India International in 2012. She participated in season 5 of Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi Darr Ka Blockbuster, the Indian version of the popular show Fear Factor.
At present She is a contestant of TV Reality Show Big Boss – season 9.
Personal Life:- Rochelle Maria Rao was born on 25 November 1988 In Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. She holds a BSc. Electronic Media Degree from M.O.P Vaishnav College for Women (Chennai).
Rochelle Rao’s immediate family consists of twin brothers (late) Noel Rohn Rao and Fritz David Rao, sister Paloma Rao, father Dr Nicolas V Rao (Telugu and German Descent ) and mother Wendy Rao ( Anglo-Indian ).
Her father Dr N V Rao is an advocate of natural healing and a medical consultant on herbal extracts. Her sister Paloma Rao is a well known Chennai based TV video jockey, actor, host. Before Rochelle got into modeling and the Miss India contest, Paloma was better known in the press than her sister.
Career:- She won the Femina Miss India International 2012 crown. Prior to this she was a model and anchor in Chennai. She later turned host for season six of the Indian Premier League (IPL).
She took part in Kingfisher Calendar 2014 contest (held in late 2013) and got selected among the final 12 girls. She bagged the February 2014 page of this prestigious bikini calendar. She was also seen in season 5 of the show “Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi” in 2014.
She happened to be the second contestant to be eliminated from the show that was hosted by Rohit Shetty. In late 2014 she was seen on an adventurous travel show on Fox Life called Life Mein Ek Baar along with Evelyn Sharma, Pia Trivedi and Mehak Chahal.
At present She is a contestant of TV Reality Show Big Boss – season 9.
