Veteran filmmaker Dilip Mehta presents a fascinating documentary ‘Mostly Sunny’ portrait of porn actress-turned-Bollywood starlet Sunny Leone, the most-Googled celebrity in India in 2014.
Sunny Leone, whose previous career in the adult film industry has, incredibly, not hampered her rise in Bollywood cinema.A former nude model and adult-film star in the United States, Leone has in recent years focused on forging a career in mainstream popular cinema in India.
In 2012 she made her Bollywood debut in Pooja Bhatt’s erotic thriller Jism 2 (2012) and shifted her focus to mainstream acting which was followed up with Jackpot (2013), Ragini MMS 2 (2014) and Ek Paheli Leela (2015).
She has also completed filming for Dholakia’s much delayed action thriller ‘Tina and Lolo’, awaiting release. Moreover, she is also doing a special song with Emraan Hashmi in Milan Luthria’s ‘Baadshaho’, and film ‘Tera Intezaar’.
