Mika Singh was born on 10 June 1977, he is a singer, composer, performer, songwriter and occasional actor. Amongst a wide catalogue of songs. Mika Singh is the youngest of all the 6 Mehndi brothers. The prominent Punjabi singer, Daler Mehndi is his elder brother. He started getting trained in music since his childhood days. When he was 8 years old, he started playing the tabla and at the age of 12 he also began learning how to play the harmonium. Then again, at 14 years of age, Mika Singh started playing the guitar as well.
Personal Life : Amrik Singh, known by his stage name Mika Singh was born to Ajmer Singh Chandan and Balbir Kaur and was brought up in Patna, Bihar and brought up at Durgapur situated in West Bengal, India. Mika Singh blong with Sikh family. He started getting trained in music since his childhood days. When he was 8 years old, he started playing the tabla and at the age of 12, he also began learning how to play the harmonium. Then again, at 14 years of age, Mika Singh started playing the guitar as well. Initially he used to sing kirtans but later on he moved up the ladder.
Career :- In the year 1998 when he was just 21 years of age, he released his very first album called ‘Sawan Mein Lag Gayee Aag’ which was an instant success for him. Following ‘Sawan Mein Lag Gayee Aag’, Mika Singh released numerous other hit albums like ‘Dunali’, ‘Gabru’, ‘Something Something’ and ‘Ishq Brandy’. Throughout his illustrious career, Mika Singh came out with numerous chartbusters, all from his films and private albums. Some of the films which he had worked for are as follows: ‘Pyaar Ke Side Effects’, ‘Apna Sapna Money Money’ and more. He had also been a mentor, a judge as well as a team captain for the team called ‘Mika’s Blasters’ in the reality show called ‘Music Ka Maha Muqabla’, hosted on STAR Plus.
