Manoj Bajpayee, is an Indian film actor was born on 23 April 1969, who works predominantly in Bollywood , Tollywood and Tamil cinema His work has been recognised by several Filmfare awards as well as multiple National Film Awards. His acting performances in Indian Cinema, most notably for his roles as dacoit Maan Singh in Bandit Queen, Raghavan in Aks, Bhiku Mahatre in Satya, Rasheed in Pinjar, and Sardar Khan in Gangs of Wasseypur.
Personal Life :- Manoj Bajpai was born in a small village of Bihar on the border of Bhadrak called Belwa near the town Narkatiyaganj in Bettiah West Champaran. He completed his basic education from Khrist Raja High School in Bettiah. He then went to [Satyawati college (delhi university) After being rejected four times at the National School of Drama, he did theatre with Barry John at Barry’s Drama School. Manoj bajpai is married to actress Neha (Shabana Raza).
Career :- Bajpai worked as a teacher at Salaam Balak Trust in Delhi. He started his career with a television serial aired on Doordarshan, Swaabhimaan. The same serial also brought Tyagi (Ashutosh Rana) and Rishab (Rohit Roy) into the limelight. Bajpai also appeared in a small role as a cop in Dastak (1996) where he shared screen space with Mukul Dev and Sushmita Sen. He played the main lead in Dil Pe Mat le Yaar opposite Tabu after Aditya Srivastava. His work was also appreciated in films like Daud: Fun on the Run (1997) and more films which earned him the National Film Award, Veer Zaara (2004), Raajneeti (2010) and Gangs of Wasseypur (2012).
