Manish Krishnanand Pandey (born 10 September 1989) Nainital, Uttarakhand, India is an Indian international cricketer. He is primarily a right-handed middle-order batsman.
He played as an opening batsman for his former IPL team, the Royal Challengers Bangalore, and became the first Indian player to score a century in the IPL in 2009. Pandey made his One Day International debut for India against Zimbabwe on 14 July 2015.
He made his Twenty20 International debut for India on the same tour, on 17 July 2015. He is one of those rare gems to have been awarded with Madhavrao Scindia Award for his impressive performance in 2009-10 Ranji Trophy season.
Pandey started playing cricket at former Indian wicketkeeper Syed Kirmani’s academy in Bangalore. he is known for his unique half-Sweep-half-flick shot.

Pandey’s father Krishnanand Pandey is a retired Colonel in Indian Army. He did his schooling in Kendriya Vidyalaya No 1, Devlali and he completed his higher education in Jain University, Bangalore.
He played junior cricket in Nasik, league cricket in Rajasthan and then moved to Karnataka, where he spent most of his childhood. Pandey started playing when he was in 3rd standard. he was the man of match in the final of Ipl 7 for his 94 in kolkata Knight Riders against kings XI Punjab.
Pandey’s has only one sister (Anita Pandey) and his favorite actors are Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh khan.
Career:- Pandey started playing cricket when he was in the third standard. Manish was a member of the victorious Indian team that played in the 2008 Under-19 World Cup held in Malaysia.
He was selected for the Mumbai Indians’ squad in the 2008 season of the Indian Premier League. He was the man of match in the finals of IPL-7 (2014) with a match winning innings of 94 for Kolkata Knight Riders against Kings XI Punjab. Pandey made his One Day International (ODI) debut for India against Zimbabwe on 14 July 2015.
He had a successful debut that included a 144-run partnership with Kedar Jadhav. 1st Indian player to score an IPL Century as he scored 114 off 73 balls against Deccan chargers for Banglore in the 2009 IPL semi-finals and he is the Top scorer in the 2009-10 Ranji season with 882 runs.
