Mahira Khan is a Pakistani actress and VJ who is noted for her role in Humsafar as Khirad Ehsan which helped re-establish the popularity of Pakistani-made shows in India. She was born on December 21, 1982 in Karachi, Pakistan.
She has worked in television serials including Neeyat (2011), Humsafar (2012), Shehr-e-Zaat (2012) and Sadqay Tumhare (2014). And Mahira made her film debut with Bol directed by Shoaib Mansoor, where played the role of Ayesha, a feisty tomboy
Personal Life:- Mahira Khan was born on December 21, 1982 in Karachi, Pakistan. Mahira Khan visited India in November 2014 soon after her drama “Humsafar” was aired on Indian TV channel “Zee Zindagi”. Mahira Khan married Ali Askari,with whom she had attended college in Los Angeles, on 13 July 2007 .
Career:- In 2011, Khan made her film debut with Bol directed by Shoaib Mansoor, where played the role of Ayesha, a feisty tomboy, who keeps getting harassed by her father and marries to a Shia Muslim boy without telling her father. Khan first appeared in the serial Neeyat.
And in the 2011 TV serial Humsafar where her chemistry with co-star Fawad Afzal Khan was noted. She visited India in November 2014 soon after her drama “Humsafar” was aired on Indian TV channel “Zee Zindagi”
Now Mahira Khan signed debut Bollywood movie “Raess” opposite Shah Rukh Khan. She has signed for Asif Raza Mir’s upcoming untitled film project.
