Javed Ali is an Indian playback singer was born on 1982 in Delhi, who has been singing in Hindi movies since 2000. In 2007 Ali sang the song “Ek Din Teri Raahon Mein” from the movie Naqaab and thereafter the song “Jashn-e-Bahaaran” from the movie Jodhaa Akbar (2008). He was born and brought up in the capital city of Delhi. His father Ustad Hamid Hussain was a qawwali singer. Right from his childhood days, Javed Ali, started singing with his father.
Personal Life :- Javed Ali was born on 1982 in Delhi. Ali started singing at a very early age with his father – a popular qawwali singer, Ustad Hamid Hussain. During an interview, Ali said that his father used to sing kirtans, a form of a Marathi & Sikh prayer and a way to praise gods. Javed Ali initially wanted to become a ghazal singer only. However, it was Kalyanji-Anandji, who advised him to join playback singing.
Career :- He ventured into playback in the year of 2000. His first film as a playback singer was Beti No. 1. He went on to sing in many movies later. He attained fame in 2007 with the release of ‘Jab We Met’ and ‘Naqaab’. The tracks ‘Nagaada Nagaada’ and ‘Ek Din Teri Raahon Mein’ did wonders for him and gained him immense popularity.
