Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Shweta Tripathi starrer film ‘Haraamkhor’ released in theaters on 13th Jan. Clashing with Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor’s film ‘OK Jaanu’. Haraamkhor directed by Shlok Sharma and produced by Guneet Monga, Anurag Kashyap, Feroze Alameer and Achin Jain.
In April 2015, a FIR registered against director Shlok Sharma on a complaint by Balbharato, Maharashtra’s testbook bureau, objecting to striking similarities between its logo and promotion scenes from Haraamkhor.
Haraamkhor was premiered in 15th annual New York Indian Film Festival (NYIFF) and Indian Film Festival of Los Angeles (IFFLA). Nawazuddin Siddiqui received the Best Actor award for the film at the New York Indian Film Festival.
In the film Nawazuddin playing role as a Shyam (Teacher) and Shweta Tripathi playing as a school student (Sandhya). After the many conteversies for film’s story now censor board cleared to release and gave permission to release in Indian theaters on 13th Jan.
