Dangal is an upcoming Indian biographical sports drama film directed by Nitesh Tiwari. The film is produced by Disney Studio India. The film stars Aamir Khan portraying the role of Mahavir Singh Phogat, who taught wrestling to his daughters Babita Kumari and Geeta Phogat. Dangal Release Date in India confirmed 23 December 2016 on Christmas.
Geeta Phogat was India’s first female wrestler to win at the 2010 Commonwealth Games where she won the gold medal (52 kg) while her sister Babita Kumari won the silver (55 kg). Dangal is the native name of wrestling site in Hindi which is popular in India. It has also regional names like Kusti and Pehlwani in India.
After the many audience, famous TV actress Sakshi Tanwar finalized for Aamir Khan’s wife role in the film and actress Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sanya Malhotra cast as Aamir Khan’s daughters role in the film.
The music for Dangal will be composed by Pritam, Komail Shayan, while lyrics will be written by Amitabh Bhattacharya.
“Dangal” is all set to release in theaters on 23 December 2016. The film’s official Trailer is going to release on 20 Oct. The film certified PG by British censors on 16 Dec 2016. Approved run time: 160 min 44 sec [2 hours, 40 minutes, 44 seconds].
