Amit Mishra is an Indian Cricketer, was born 24 November 1982 in Delhi, India. He is an attacking right arm leg break bowler and right handed tail ender batsman, who plays for Haryana in the domestic Ranji Trophy and currently appears for the T20 team Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Indian Premier League (IPL) and also has represented India in Test ODI and T20. at the beginning Mishra was called into the Indian Team for a Test match against the West Indies in 2002, but was not selected.

Mishra was recalled for the tour of Bangladesh and played in the First Test in Chittagong as the only spinner after Harbhajan suffered an injury.
