Rohit Sharma will not play in India’s home ODI series against West Indies due to injury

Indian batsman Rohit Sharma almost certain to limited-overs series against the West Indies because of shoulder injury, which starting on 8 October. Rohit Sharma will not play in India’s home ODI series against West Indies due to injury his shoulder injury.

During the one-day series against England, Rohit suffered a finger injury and he was away from cricket for four weeks.

Rohit Sharma recovered from finger injury but he still upset by his shoulder injury. Rohit played only one of India’s five Tests in England befor he had to cut short his tour after fracturing his finger in the field during the second ODI.

Rohit has been placed in the care of physio of the BCCI National Cricket Academy in Bangalore. Captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni, the Indian team will play five ODIs and a Twenty20 match against West Indies.
