MSG Will Not Release On This Friday, Censored Board Stopped The Film’s Release


Famous social reformer, preacher, spiritual leader and the head of the India-based socio-spiritual organisation Dera Sacha Sauda (DSS) Baba Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh’s upcoming film MSG: The Messenger Of God will now release on this Friday 16 Jan.

Yes he film will not release on this Friday. Censored board stopped the film’s releasing on this Friday. The board refused to give the film certificate so now the film will not release on this Friday.

It is a very bad news for the fans of Baba Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh. After seeing the film the full bench of the Censor Board of Film is sent the film to Certification Appellate Tribunal (FCAT).

Leela Samson, president of the board, said the film was unanimously decided to send him to the FCAT. Before Sikh organizations, including the Akal Takht had sought to impose Ban on Ram-Rahim’s film MSG for the blame of alleging religious sentiments.

The Home Ministry is also feared that the film after seeing it spread communal strain. According to reports, also may be that the film will not release in Punjab, Hariyanan, Delhi and Chandigarh.

Because Baba Gurmeet Ram Rahim Sigh and his Dera came under investigation in connection with the charges of sexual exploitation of women followers of the sect, and the murder of a journalist Ram Chander Chatrapati.

MSG: The Messenger of God is an upcoming film directed by Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh and Jeetu Arora. The film is produced under the Hakikat Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. banner and features Singh in the lead role.

According to the producers, the movie deals with youth-related issues like drug abuse, alcoholism, etc. The film will release in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and English. The Indian censor board has currently denied the film a release certificate.
