Film producer Karan Johar will be seen in a important role in Anurag Kashyap’s upcoming film Bombay Velvet.

Karan Johar is playing role as Kaizad Khambatta: A flamboyant, quick-witted, Parsi media mogul with a high-end attitude.
The film is based on historian Gyan Prakash’s book Mumbai Fables. Set in Bombay of the 1960s, the film tells the story of a boxer, Johnny Balraj, and an aspiring jazz singer, Rosie, and how their hopes and dreams collide with their individual realities.
Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Karan Johar are playing lead role in the film and Kay Kay Menon, Manish Choudhary, Raveena Tandon and Siddharth Basu appearing in supporting roles.
The film is all set to hit box office on 15 May, 2015.
